Not a Good Week

Well I made 8 trades last week lost $175 . Have to keep working on better trades.I got into a couple of fast moving stocks which is ok if they go your way, but increases your down side risk. I have to do more reading and smaller priced stocks which means they move slower & gives more time to get out if you need it .

Who wants to Trade stocks for a living ?

I started this blog to find others who have the same interest as me.
I have been trading stocks on and off for last ten years without much success.I have made some good trades and have made some bad trades ,and some I still own.I want to trade for a living but find it the most challenging venture I have under took. I must admit that for the first 7 to 8 years I have had little training . I tried to wing it and piled up the losses. Now I try to read take web seminars and talk to other traders each and everyday. I want to post my progress here each week or so ,good or bad in the hopes of receiving feedback from other traders on how I and other traders can improve their trading and one day . Trade stocks for a living.
So far this year I have made 37 trades 15 winners 21 losers and 1 flat.
Unfortunately my losers have been much larger that the winners and I'm down $1127 this year.
right now I'm mostly day trading last week I made 2 trades for a profit of $31.50 .
Any comments would be greatly appreciated
